THALES Greece is an established industry in the local market and a focal point for all Greek customers and users of Thales technology.
All installation processes are ISO 9001:2000 certified and fully compliant with national NATO security requirements for defense industries. Operating out of a state-of-the-art 6.600 sq.m. facility at Koropi Athens, near international airport, THALES Greece is operating the most advanced industrial means for designing, manufacturing and testing (functional and environmental) any electronic equipment.
THALES Greece, either as prime contractor or as sub-contractor of other Thales Units, has significantly contributed and is currently participating in many of the major projects in Greece and Cyprus, such as electronic warfare and advanced communication systems for the Hellenic Forces, the Crotale short-range missiles project, the Erieye flying radar project, the Air-Traffic-Management system in the International Airport of Athens, the ticketing system in Athens Metro, the modernization of the transmission network of the Hellenic Radio & Television, the National Spectrum Management and Monitoring System of Cyprus, and more.
