PhDs

Thales undertakes a vast array of innovative research and development projects each year. So we offer over 250 PhD students the chance to prepare their thesis within a Thales Research Centre or Business Unit. Thales PhD students have the unique opportunity to carry out research in one of our many laboratories alongside some of the foremost scientists in their fields. Possible areas of research are many and varied including real-time and embedded software, hardware, signal processing, applied physics and systems architecture.

VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise): The French International Internship Programme

The VIE is a unique opportunity to gain international experience within one of the Thales companies outside of France.

What?

The VIE is a contract available to all French companies, which encourages early international work experience.

Who?

Citizens of one of the member states of the EEA (European Economic Area).

Open, curious people, eager to work in an international environment.

Where?

In one of our 50 Thales countries, subject to an available position.

How long?

Between 6 and 24 months.
